It appears there are three variations of the Officejet J6400: J6413, J6450, J6480.
Which specific model do you have? This should be located on a label in the ink cartrdige area, on the back, or possibly on the bottom.
You mentioned this is a new modem and router. What brand/model are they? The steps needed may require some different steps.
In the event we need to do any steps on the PC, what operating system does it use?
