I was about to purchase a HPPhotosmart printer CN245B but on checking feedback from others it seems that many people have experienced difficulties if they also use a BT Homehub. Have contacted BT but they admit to not knowing anything about printers. Since I have a HomeHub 2 I am loathe to buy a printer which I cannot use at it's best. Anybody have a soliution, please?

Honeslty, BT Home Hubs are not exactly "standard" routers. They have a bunch of custom firmware that printers don't seem to like. These are not the only routers with this problem, many ISP-supplied routers are the same way.
The surefire solution is to keep your BT Home Hub and buy a standard router to put in line with it. Get a Linksys or Netgear, attach everything to it and it will work fine.
