How do you set up an email address on the HP Photosmart D110a printer so I can print email that is sent to the printer

Enable Web Services from the front of the printer.  When it is done it will print a sheet containing your printer's email address.

Your printer must be connected directly to your wireless network.  This will not work if it is connected to a computer with a USB cable (only).

I keep getting an error message that says "Server Connection Error".  The printer is wireless and prints properly when I send documents to it and even prints emails from my I-phone.  At one time I was able to send things to the printer's email address, but now it keeps telling me there is that Server Connection Error???????  Thanks

Let's set a static IP address for the printer:

- Print a Network Config Page from the front of the printer. Note the printer's IP address.
- Type that IP address into a browser to reveal the printer's internal settings.
- Choose the Networking tab, then Wireless along the left side, then the IPv4 tab.
- On this screen you want to set a Manual IP. You need to set an IP address outside the range that the router automatically sets (called the DHCP range). You can find the DHCP range of the router using its internal settings page or in its manual. If you do not know this, change the digits after the last '.' in the printer's current IP address to "250".
- Use 255.255.255.0 for the subnet (unless you know it is different, if so, use that)
- Enter your router's IP (on the Network Config Page) for the gateway and first DNS. Leave the second one blank.
- Click 'Apply'.

Now, shut down the router and printer, start the router, wait, then start the printer.

After this you may need to redo 'Add a Printer' using the new IP address.

I have a photosmart c310 printer with the wireless ON.  how do i set up the email on printer.?

also how do I scan a document to the computer?

HP Recommended

The wireless has to be both ON and connected to your wireless router.

On the front of the printer, go to Web Services and enable it.  It will print a page giving you instructions how to complete the process.

Scanning to the computer - it depends.  You must enable scanning to the computer in the HP software.
