Suddenly during printing my printer HP Photosmart 6510 goes off line

My printer HP Photosmart 6510 goes off line during printing. This happen every 10 minutes and I have to re-install the printer to be able to print. My former HP Photosmart printer did not behave like this. How can I avoid my printer to go off line all the time?

How is the printer connected to the computer?

If over a network, what brand and model is the router?

The printer is connected through WI-FI and the router brand  & model is Zylex P--HWT-F1. The former printer didn't behave like this. Once installed and connected it was up and running. This printer I can installed several times both by cd and usb-connection. Still it goes off-line. :-(

It sounds like the router's DHCP may be changing the IP address too frequently for the printer software to keep up with it.

I recommend setting a static IP address as it resolves many network issues with printers in general.
