Why does the HP Solution Center say that my Photosmart premium C309g-m is disconnected.

When I double click the HP Solution icon it opens but says my printer is disconnected and the ink levels are not available. I have a wireless connection and everything prints fine.

Thank you for your reply. I downloaded the utility and ran it, however, in the HP Solution Center screen it still says that the printer is disconnected and the status tab at the bottom right is not functional. Everything else seems to be functioning in the center an everything prints out okay.

Still need help.

OK, what did the utility say?

 

Let's try a restart of the printer, router and computer and try again.

OK, well, it looks happy, huh?

 

At this point I would go to Start > All Programs > Hewlett-Packard > [your printer model] > Uninstall and uninstall all of the HP software.

 

Restart your PC.

 

Get the latest software for your printer from the "Support & Drivers" link at the top of this page and install it, choosing a "Network" installation type when it asks.
