I have a HP OfficeJet 6500A Plus [E728E1] connected wirelessly to our network.
Main DSL modem + router: Linksys WAG200G Firmware Version: 1.01.06
TP-Link TL-WA830RE wireless range extender (acts as passthrough, uses same SSID and channel as main wireless router)
Two Windows XP machines connected with a wire to the linksys router.
A Windows 7 machine connected wirelessly to the network through the wireless range extender
The printer has a static IP (192.168.2.135) and is connected to the network through the range extender.
The windows 7 machine can print without a problem!
The windows XP machine knows the correct IP address (pings succeed) and can view the embedded web server both through the printers IP and its hostname. You can issue a print job and it'll enter the queue. Then after a while an error message pops up saying it cant print the file.
Change in situation that caused the problem:
Before we added the range extender (and the windows 7 machine and printer were connected to the main router instead of the extender), everything worked fine.
I tried disabling the firewall, didn't work. I'm kind of unsure how to continue. Please help!

Some additional data:
HP Doctor 1.0 log file of the Windows XP machine (reports that everything is fine, just the test page fails)
Network summary of the printer
