Hi,
I've been fighting with my C309g since I purchased it a couple of months ago. It works on and off but can't hold a network connection consistently. I usually have it wired but have tried it wireless as well. It is plugged directly into my Netgear router.
Previously it would work for a short period of time and switch between Online & Offline on its own. Sometimes it recognizes the other PCs on the network in order to print & do scans. I have 3 PCs on the network - two wired & one wireless. It will recognize all three rarely, two of them sometimes, one of them sometimes (usually the wireless laptop) and none of them most of the time.
It worked every once in awhile for the first month and now it won't show up at all on the network - wired or wireless. I can't get it to print anymore. The documents just sit in the que for awhile and then produce an error.
Any help appreciated. This printer is a complete pain.
Thanks,
Gringeiro

Hi Gringeiro,
Are you using WEP or WPA wireless security on your router? I would recommend WPA2 with AES, well, if you want to connect it wirelessly. Also, it will help if you set a static IP address on the printer. You can do this by typing the printer's IP address into the address bar of your browser. Select the Network tab, then look for IPV4 under the Wired or Wireless section, depending upon how you have it connected. There should be an option to "Suggest Manual IP". If not, type IPCONFIG from the command prompt (Start/Run cmd) to get your Subnet and Gateway addresses.
