Wireless printer (HP4680) suddenly stopped printing wirelessly.
It can still print from another USB attached PC. Windows 7 64 bit.
The printer's Wireless Network Test Report shows Excellent connectivity and no problems.
Try to print a test page from PC Printer Properties and nothing happens. Print queue shows 0 items.
Reinstalled Printer and Stopped and restarted spooler, did not fix.
Advice appreciated.

Download and run this utility: http://h20180.www2.hp.com/apps/Nav?h_pagetype=s-92
What does it say?

Ran HPHNDU Diagnostics on Network and Network connection was good.
Ran HP Printer Diagnostic Utility 4.1 (HPDDU)
It said to replace Driver with lastest download which was done.
Repeated Diagnostics and same instruction appeared.
Attached USB cable and installed as USB Printer. This did not work either.
Stopped and restarted spooler again, still did not fix.
Tested printing from a document and did not print, Queue showed 0 files pending.
Looks like the problem is getting to the queue.

Did it say anything about your antivirus' firewall? Try disabling it.

Turned off Firewall and Avast Anti-Virus with no effect. Still can not print to queue.
I can print to the same printer which is shared on another PC on the network.
Can not print directly either with USB cable or by Wireless directly from the problem PC to this printer.

Turn off the spooler and try direct print.
Also, it could be the firewall on the host PC as well.

Problem Resolved.
Stopping the spooler caused Printer Properties to disappear so I couldn't Direct Print a test page.
Since nothing else worked so far I did a System Restore back to Nov 12 and that corrected the problem.
Unfortunately using Restore prevents knowing the exact cause of the problem.
Thanks for you assistance.

I have had trouble with various printing problems with my HP laptop and it always seems to lose or uninstall my printer. I then try to update the devices, but it always comes back with a print spooler error. My system is a Windows 7 - 64 bit. Can anyone help please? Normally I can find something to help get it up and running and this time nothing is working. I have been battling this problem since last year when we bought this laptop. Funny thing is everyone else on our home wireless network have no trouble printing ever! Just me.
