Wireless and direct connection for HP4280 printer

Can I connect my HP4280 printer directly to my computer and use it wirelessly with other networked computers at the same time?

You can share your printer with other computers on the same network. It only shares the print function, not scanning and the host computer must always be on and never go to sleep.

The setup can be tricky.  What operating system(s)?

OK, on the host computer, go to Control Panel > Printers.  Right click the printer and choose Share.

On the remote computer, get the latest software for your printer from the "Support & Drivers" link at the top of this page and install it.

Sounds easy, but often it does not see the printer....

Please email the dowlonad for HP4280. I lost my CD Rom and I never have used my ALL in One because of losing it. I want to set it up wirlessly to only one computer. What do I need to do? Thank you, Cherie
