Wireless issues with photosmart C4795

Hello,
I have my printer and a wireless laptop. I do not have the printer connected to the router. I am using wireless direct to the printer.
I get info from the printer such as low link levels, etc.
I can print stand alone documents such as word or excel files with no problem. What I cannot do is print anything web based.
This includes e-mail, attachments, web pages, etc.
I have loaded the latest drivers and utilities. This is also an issue whether I am cabled or not!
I have gone into the printer control panel and set the IP address to a static address. No change.
My wifes I-Mac prints no problem.
My laptop is an HP pavilion running Windows 7.
Any Ideas?

Did you restart your PC? What error do you get?

Hello,
Thank you for your response.
I ran the utility and everything came back "no conflicts"
I disabled the microsoft firewall and no change.
The test page was OK, but the problem seems to be anything web based: no e-mail or web pages.
NOTE: I have the same issue with a cable as well. It will print any saved document, but that's it.
I never thought of putting the printer on my network, since I'm the only user. Would have to see how to cable it.
I assume I'd use one of the LAN ports.

Oh, you said your wife's Mac prints to it fine so I thought there were multiple users.
This is a problem within your PC I am pretty sure. At this point I would recommend uninstalling the HP software (using the uninstaller in the HP folder), rebooting your PC, then getting the latest software for your printer from the "Support & Drivers" link at the top of this page.
