I have an HP Photosmart C7280 with a broken ethernet jack. My printer is past the one year warranty.
Is is possible to replace the jack? The cable will not stay in the port/jack.
If it can't be replaced, what are my options?
Thank you.

Are you sure it is the jack and not the cable?
Replacing the jack is major surgery and, without instructions, risk of damage to other systems is high. I would not recommend it.

Yes, I am sure it is the jack. I used to work as a computer technician. The cable works fine on anything else, but the printer will not hold any cables in place. We have been using it wirelessly and via usb. Unfortunately, our house has a lot of interference so we have to bring our laptops into the room with the printer or run a really long usb cable.
I called HP and they said it is not a replaceable part, if it were under warranty they would replace it. Thankfully I used my a credit card that double the warranty, so I have to fill out lots of paperwork and cross my fingers.
My husband and I both love the printer and have HP laptops, so I just want another one, or an upgrade.
Thanks for checking though.
