computer not connected when scanning

i have been trying to scan to my computer a photo to file and i keep getting a message stating that the computer is not connected, i have it wirelessly setup and can print just fine its just when i press scan on the computer that it will not do so.. i didt the scan doctor thing and it said it was working fine, but then when i go to the printer and hit scan i still get that message

I am having the EXACT same problem and OS is Windows 7 Professional 64 bit.

It is a HP Photosmart Premium Model C310a.
