dell laptop with windows XP, when i connect the 8600 plus

I have an airport extreme router, i have an iMac OS 10.7.4, and the 8600 pro plus. they are connect and have been working fairly well. i have a dell laptop running window XP with a belking USB wirless adapter. when i try and setup the 8600 on the laptop everytime i plug the USB cable from the printer into the laptop to set up the wirless for it like the direction say. it enables my belkin. the printer works great when connected with the USB cable to the laptop, but can not figure out how to make it work wireless with the laptop. please help

Hi,

 

If the printer is already connected to your airport router via wireless then printer should already have the IP address.

 

Uninstall existing software on your Dell PC. And now install the hp printer software from CD and select wireed installation. If printer is not listed, then enter the IP address manually.
