Uninstall AVG or McAfee, your choice.  You should only have one security system on your PC.  If you have more than one all sorts of strange communication issues occur.

I uninstalled the AVG, restarted my computer and tried changing the USB connection to a wireless connection but it is still saying that it can not find my printer.

Are there any other 3rd party (non-windows) security software present or running like anti-malware, anti-spyware or firewalls?

 

At this point it may be better to get a local tech to look at your machine, something is funny with the system.
