hi

 

 i have HP Deskjet 3050A J611 series (network) printer , i bought on thanxgiving day i installed  and  it was working good but  last couple of days printer is not working when i make any print but  they give me msg about unable to print

 pl give me reply and if could u fix it

I have a similar problem, but with a different printer.  I have a C309a Photosmart Premium connected wirelessly via a D-Link router (model DIR-601) to a Dell computer running Windows 7 (32 bit).  it used to work.  I've run the utilities and it stops at "driver" , but I've uninstalled and reinstalled the driver twice.  The Wireless Network Test Report shows no problems (all PASS with excellent signal strength) and the HP Solution Center claims the printer is connected.  If all the connections seem fine, and it has a current driver, what's the problem?

The HP Home Network Diagnostics Utility states that the connection is verified, but the test print failed.

 

I did change the router a little while back.  I don't remember what the old one was, but it wasn't a D-Link brand like I have now.  Could that be it, even if everything claims to be connected?

I think the priner is attached to the router OK.  The problem is likely HP software or your antivirus suite's firewall.

 

Disable the firewall (not the Windows firewall, it is almost never a problem) and try to print.  If that does not work, use the uninstaller in Start > All Programs > Hewlett-Packard > [your printer model].

 

Restart your PC.

 

Finally, get the latest software for your printer from the "Support & Drivers" link at the top of this page.

I bought a C310a printer recently and have been trying to install it. It took the whole afternoon to download the software and then, it continued to say cartridge jam. There is nothing restricting the cartridge.
I would like a call back as soon as you have a chance. I am about to throw this thing out the window. Thanks.
And I did not succeed in finding a number to call about this. Not good customer relations.
