Just bought a HP 6600  yesterday, love it except the box and all the literature say it has an ethernet port.

I can't find it.  There are 2 phone/fax jacks (in/out) where the ethernet port is shown to be in the documentation, but no ethernet.

Undocumented design change?

Sorry all I see from the manual is a USB and your phone ports, no Ethernet port.

Hi,  when I Google HP 6600 Ethernet port I get lots of choices, most from HP documentation web site.  All make reference to an ethernet port.

Some show a diagram plugging the cable from a switch or router into the printer and show the Ethernet port.  They even caution you not to use a smaller phone cable/jack.

Thanks

Does your printer have a scanner? If so then it is probably an Officejet 6600, which does not have ethernet, only wireless for the network solution. I did the same google search that you did and found documentation for an HP Deskjet 6600 series printer that claims to have ethernet. However that printer is a single function (no scanner).
