Wirless Test Results - PASS

Installation software finds the printer over the wireless network but will not install it. 

Firewall has been dissabled. 

Router channell has been changed to 11 (tech support suggestion)

Still the same resulting message:

Printer cannot be installed over network.

-HELP or it's going back to the store.  I need this to work..............

What operating system?  Are you using software from the CD?  Did you disable your operating system's firewall or your antivirus firewall?

What router?

i've been having the same problem. i found your post and saw that you haven't responded back the the last person, so usually that means you may have found a solution for the problem.

if you found a way to fix this problem would you mind sharing it? i'm in a real jam as well

nothing because apparently it's only for windows and they don't have a utility for mac users :/

OK, well you did not say that in your post.

What version of OS X?  What router are you using?

Have you gotten the latest software for your printer from the "Support & Drivers" link at the top of this page?

Oh I didn't mean it as a jab at you, I was just bummed HP doesn't have it for Mac

I'm running the newest version of osx Lion. I've installed the drivers from HP as well. I'll have to let you know the router when I get home. Hope this helps. I may try and post a video of what I experience later tonight

OK, make sure you are using this software: http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/softwareDownloadIndex?softwareitem=mp-96529-2&cc=us&dlc=en&lc=en&...

Also, make sure your router is broadcasting its network name (SSID) and also has 802.11g enabled in some way.
