PrintDoc The article abt Verizon wireless did not help. From continuing to just look at the Print and Scan app, I saw in the window on the left a list of two devices The first one is Photosmart 7510 and a little green dot "idle, default"; the second one listed reads HP Photosmart 7510 se...and a little red dot "offlineque". Then when opening the que, the message is offline priner not connected.
In the utility window when opened again two options given, the same as above. HOWEVER, when checking the settings on the first one, the correct IP address for the printer is given. AND when hovering the cursor over the printer name in the window, a small yellow dialog opens giving a bunch of numers, the printer type, and that the connection is Bonjour. When applying the same to he second one, the small yellow box reads that the connection is USB port. and no IP Address is given in the settings info.
Also, both show Device Status and Supplies unknown.
There is only one printer.
I ran the Wireless Network Test Results and HP Network Confinguration page before writing this reply. They are both perfect and would, to the average person, indicate that all is well and ready to go.
I'm not giving up yet. I did look at the new modem/router for an easy manual way to change channels. There was none. Also mention of troubleshooting issues with wireless printing in their literature.

Well, the printer is connected, but it is odd that the Mac thinks there are two instances of it.
Let's reset the printing system again:
- Go to System Preferences > Print & Scan
- Right (or control) click in the rectangle listing your printers and select Reset Printing System.
WARNING - this will delete ALL of your printers!
- Select the plus sign to re-add a printer. Select the Defualt tab on the top of the window. Look for the printer, select it and wait until the "Add" button becomes available. Click it.
I still think this is a router problem...
