System is Win 7 premium 64. Printer is cp1025nw connected wirelessly. Printer worked great for 2 months. At this stage the printer is always offline on my PC but works fine on MAC. I reinstalled the drivers and ran HP utility, however to no avail. Still printer defaults to offline all the time, although printer is not offline and can print to it from MAC. Please help. Thanks

Welcome to the forum and sorry to hear your having issues. Have you tried using the Print Diagnostic Utility? How is the Windows PC connected to the network? Is it connected to the network wirelessly like the Mac?
This document has a ton of different troubleshooting steps to get the printer back up and running. Let me know how the Windows computer is connected to the network and I can help provide you with better troubleshooting steps.
Thanks!

I tried the HP diagnostics and even removed the printer and reloaded new drivers, however, to no avail. I am desperate at this stage. It always shows the printer offline whatever I do. The connection is wireless. No issues with my Macs. Just my Dell Laptop.

Have you tried restarting the Print Spooler? Lets try that:
- On the Windows taskbar, click the Windows icon (
), type admin in the Search programs and files box, and then click Administrative Tools . - Double-click Services .
- Right-click Print Spooler .
- Click Stop to stop the Print Spooler.
- Click Start to restart the Print Spooler.
- Restart the computer.
- Try the print job again.

Thank you for your suggestion. I reset the print spooler as recommended and restarted the system, to no avail. The printer does not print and still shows offline. I can ping the IP and print from other laptops. My Macs work fine. I uninstalled the printer and reinstalled it too ... did not work. After a reinstall, it starts as being online, then goes offline the minute I send a print job to it. It should work at least for a while after the reinstall, however, does not. Any other ideas?

Humm. Try thie Home Netork Diagnostic Utility. See if that detects and problems and is able to solve the problem. Did you use the CD to reinstall the printer software? If so I would go ahead and uninstall it again and reinstall using the software here: HP LaserJet Full Feature Software and Driver which was updated 2 months ago.
Let me know if any of these steps fix the issue.
Thanks,

Thank you SeanS for the feedback. I tried it (uninstalled the printer and reinstalled it from the updated driver you recommended). It did not work. The installation would stop once the driver is being loaded and I would get the following error " HP Printer Software Installer has stopped working. A problem cause the program to stop working correctly. Windows will close the program and notify you if a solution is available". Then I am aborted from the app. However, the printer driver is then installed on the USB port and I can print to it via USB. The wireless is not available. I am not sure where to go from here. I did install the driver on my sister's win 7 laptop and it worked just fine wirelessly. As mentioned earlier, it also works fine on our Macs. There must be something wrong with my specific Win 7 laptop. Again, thanks for your support.

I think I have found a solution. Since I am able to print from another Win 7 computer after click Network-->Printers--> then double click xxxxx(HP Laserjet CP1025nw) and driver was installed. I did the same same on the Win 7 computer (originally used for installation) with issue.
Now when I print, I have two printers, one is HP Laser printer CP1020 series, another is xxxxxx(HP Laserjet 1025nw), I use the one with xxxxxx. All works fine.
