wireless connection for my HP LaserJet p2055dn CE459A to my MacPro 10.7.3 network

[ Edited ]

I am having problems achieving a network connection from my MacPro 10.7.3 to my HP LaserJet CE 459A   s/n {Removed for privacy} >pet< I am not entirely sure this is the serial number because the white strip label where this number appears on the back of the printer does not expressly state that the number printed on it is a serial number. I could find no other number that might be a serial number. Is there another place on the printer where the serial number would appear? I would appreciate being told where to start in order to connect this printer to my LAN. The printer works very well with an Ethernet cable but I understood it would also work wirelessly..

Hello,

Thanks for the post.  WIth this one, I'm trying to understand the question.  You can obtain the serial number of the printer via the configuration page.  Also, the serial number is preceeded by a S/N if that helps.  I've included a link below with some additional information regarding drivers for the MAC OS.  I'm not aware of a wireless option unless you are using ethernet direct to an Airport router.  Directly below are two links that I might suggest posting these question at if this does not resolve.  Good Luck!
