Can anybody tell me just what "BPD software.msi" is? and why is my windows installer trying to find a file to load for it after startup ?

Hi,

It is related with your HP Printer's software.

What HP printer model do you have installed on your PC?

I recently had a virus problem. apparently the printer driver was corrupted or had some portion of its files deleted. I cleaned up the system, then had to uninstall the original printer driver. I then installed a new driver Downloaded from HP website. Printer prints fine. I haven't tried to use fax, scan, or copy features yet. I'm just baffeled by the window that shows up after startup claiming to not be able to find some file in order to install "BPDsoftware.msi"  It takes 2 tries to Cancel the Installer window. Edge browser now won't display Email or Calender apps, but otherwise works fine.
