Hello @Tracey28,

Thanks for showing your interest in the HP Forums! I see that you are having issues reconnecting the printer to the new router. I would like to help.

You would need to restore the network defaults on the printer and set it up again on the new router.

From the printer's control panel, go to the Wireless Menu, then Restore Network Defaults.

If the new router has a WPS button you can setup the printer over the network this way. From the Wireless Menu, go to WPS.

Let me know what you will be using the printer with. (Android, PC)

Normally, you would have to configure the printer using a computer. Here is a document that you can take a look at: Wireless Printer Setup.

Let me know if those steps worked for you. If they did, that’s awesome! Give us some reinforcement by clicking the solution and kudos buttons, that’ll help us and others see that we’ve got the answers! Good Luck!

Thanks for getting back to me @Tracey28.

You could try the following steps to see if they will work:

Restore the printer defaults.

Make sure the wireless is turned on the printer. (the wireless light should be blinking) You should be able to access by going to the Wireless menu on the printer.

The printer should access an IP address.

Open up a browser on your SmartPhone and type in the address bar 192.168.223.1.

This should bring up the printer's Embedded Web Server page.

Go to the network tab along the top of the EWS.

Click on Wireless Setup Wizard along the left-hand side to begin configuring the printer.

Apply your settings.

You have now completed the Wireless configuration.

Now you should be able to connect the SmartPhone to the router's network.

If these steps don't work, you will have to use a computer to setup the printer back through the new network.

Let me know how you make out.

Thanks!
