Hi there,

I have experienced this problem myself.

There are a couple of things you can try

  1. Check the default paper type for the printer, go to Settings and click the Printing Properties and check that the paper type is plain paper
  2. Run windows update to check that you have the latest version of the printer driver.
  3. Take a look at this document (http://support.hp.com/us-en/document/c05272556)

I hope this helps
