Envy 4520
macOS 10.12 Sierra

Just purchashed an Envy 4520. I clicked on 'printables' on the touch screen and went to the website it showed. I then read and found out there is no longer printables but apps. My printer is connected to my wifi and my laptop is on the same network.

PROBLEM: Whenever I try to download an app from the HP website it says "We were unable to add this printer app. This app may not be supported on your printer."

so does this mean my printer doesn't support ANY apps? Because the box advertises that is does.

"Printers with a text-based control panel do not support printer apps."

So because my printer is text based that means I can't use apps.. 😞

What printer is the closest to the one I have that can support apps?
