Hello all, I have a HP ENVY 5532 Printer / Scanner but for some reason it does not want to print PDF or Word Document files ? it always used to but for some reason no longer?

I have just installed the HP Print and Scan Doctor which appeared to install test and show all was fine.

Having tried to print again nothing happens from these documents ?

I can print a web page totally fine, its all getting very annoying and frustrating.

Any idea`s would be hugely appreciated.

Thanks

mrix

@mrix,

Welcome to HP Forums, this is a great place to get support, find answers and tips.

Thank you for posting your query, I'll be more than glad to help you out.

I understand that your HP Printer does not print in pdf and word files.

This issue could occur if the Adobe Reader is not updated to the latest version.

Let's go through a few steps to resolve this issue.

And here's the step by step guide for you in the link: Cannot Print PDFs from Adobe Reader

For issue with printing from MS Word, you may follow the link: How to troubleshoot printing problems in Word

Let me know how that works.

I hope you have a good day ahead.
