Envy 4500 Printer

I had my iMac desktop scrubbed because I had the Trovi / Fozhand Virus.  I now need to re - connect my Envy 4500 printer.  I have the installation disc but it keeps asking me for my WPA2 Password of which I have no clue.  There is no "Forgot Password" message on the blank.  I am stymied and could use some help.

Thank you very much.

Lou

@Lou19,

Welcome to HP Forums, this is a great place to get support, find answers and tips.

Thank you for posting your query, I'll be more than glad to help you.

I understand that you are unable to connect your HP ENVY 4500 e-All-in-One Printer as it keeps asking for the WPA2 password.

This issue could occur if the network has a WPA2 password.

Let's go through a few steps to resolve this issue.

And here's the step by step guide for you in the link to find the WPA2 password: Find Your Wireless WEP, WPA, WPA2 Password (Mac)

You may also check the link: Wireless Printer Setup (Mac)

Let me know how this works.

You have a good day ahead.
