Hello,

I've done everything from uninstall reinstall drivers, turn off/on printer, computer, router.

I can print to printer, but I cannot scan.  I can scan using IP EWS, but when it says "hit save icon" there isn't one on the page.

The DR. says I'm missing the Twain component, so I DL new driver, and no change.

Please advise.

Thanks,

DTL

Hello, @DontheLegend - Greetings!

Thanks for stopping by the HP Support Forums! It is a great platform to get help from the community, get suggestions and find what has worked for others!

I understand you are getting a “TWAIN” error while scanning. I will certainly do my best to help you fix this issue 🙂

First off, to save the web scan using the EWS, simply right-click on the scan preview and select "Save image as" option.

Also, try scanning using the Windows Fax and Scan. Press the "Windows logo key" + "R" to get the "Run" window. Type "WFS.EXE" and press enter to get the Windows Fax and Scan.

Click on "New Scan" to start a new scan.

Let me know how that goes. Good luck!

Cheers 🙂
