Hp Solution Center stopped working a few days ago. No computer changes were made. I have gone thru all the troubleshooting, uninstall, reinstall, deleting drivers, disabling all non-Microsoft services and startups, disabling windows updates, disk clean and whatever else HP recommended on their web site. I always end up with the same non-working HP Solution Center because the install did not complete. The printer works and scans, the HP Solution Center also works on another computer. I have had both error 1603 & 1602 after reinstalling the full feature software.

Hi,
Thanks for using the forum.
Can you do a complete uninstall of your printer and try again?
Try the following expert's suggestion to L3.bat and then try to install the printer again?
Hope that helps.

I have gone thru this procedure many times and the problem still exists. After the level 4 uninstall I went thru my computer and deleted everything HP that was still there. None of this helped. It did change the error code to 25328408. If that is of any help

I did the uninstall with https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/17588/fix-problems-that-block-programs-from-being-installed... as suggested. After rebooting and installing the software, I still had the problem with HP Solution Center. I again manually deleted ALL HP from my computer and again ran the Microsoft software - https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/17588/fix-problems-that-block-programs-from-being-installed... . I then reinstalled HP software and it reported an error (did not identify what error) but the instructions said to reboot the computer and reinstall which I did. This time, the complete program was installed and worked correctly. Thanks for all your help.
