I lost the disc that connects my printer to my laptop and got a new computer and need to print but I cannot connect it to my new computer! How can i get a new disc or connect my laptop to my printer without spending too much money, and not buying a new printer?

Hi,

 

The disc is probably out of date now. Please download the following software and drivers (for Windows) and install to your computer:

 

            http://ftp.hp.com/pub/softlib/software12/COL32609/al-109407-3/DJ2050_J510_1313-1.exe

I have everything downloaded but an option to connect is still not there is says the printer is not connected to the computer. I checked all of the wires and the printer is on but still nothing

-I Do not know what you're taking a window? Follow me maybe the driver is not compatible with the current between the computer and printer ban. first, before trying to download the other drivers you should remove the drivers are in your computer, you right-click My Computer ( win 7 or earlier version) or This PC (if you win 10) -> Manage-> Device Manager- full in System Tools> right pane will display the drivers currently in plant-> you looking to Print queues-> including your broken printer drivers can be marked with "!" color yellow-> right-click and select Uninstall- corrupted driver> then a computer restart

 

-When The computer off again
     + If the win 10 machine will automatically find the latest drivers for your compatible, if it is carrying on after win 7 error if you click on Troubleshoot problems windows manually search for and fix for you.
     + Alternatively, you flip down the back is full of information, your computer series, is a win you are using, serial printer to load the correct drivers to support.hp.com/us-en/drivers compatible ( this seems way more complicated but the final choice, you try it)
=> I also met this problem when printing contract for web design and web seo xe dap dien,xe may dien to signing with clients, I've used this way and succeeded, I hope you are well into work, good luck
