Hello . I am having trouble reinstalling my printer M125a after changing from Windows 7 to Windows 10 . Back when i was using windows 7 i installed from the CD the drivers and software without problems , now on Windows 10 everytime i try to install , either from Hp support assistent , CD , setup download ; i get the same error at 99 % that the installation took too long and it failed .
This printer cost me a few $$$ and i would appreciate to be able to actually use it instead of keeping it as decorations on my desk .

Okey so i found a way to install finally . This are the staps i took for anyone else who is having this problem :
Restart PC ,
Connect device ,
Unistall the driver in Device manager currently existing ,
Disconnect cable from printer to PC ,
Inset Install CD ,
Run autorun.exe ,
choose only the 2 recommended ,
wait to be asked to connect my printer and connect it ,
install took about 10 seconds now and was successful .
Maybe it helps others .
