@Andre_D, It's great to hear back from you. I was waiting for the response.

The options are not removed from the printer.

Have you installed full feature printer drivers on your PC?

Have you updated the adobe acrobat reader on your PC?

If you have installed full feature software on your PC you will get those options.

Please uninstall the printer software from the root level.

1. Navigate to Start >Type Devices and Printers in the Search > Select it from the results

2. Highlight your printer object and Right Click

3. Choose Remove Device

4. Highlight something else from the list

5. Click the Print Server Properties button from the toolbar

6. Select the Drivers Tab

7. Highlight the appropriate print driver

8. Click Remove

9. Check the Remove Driver and Driver Package option when prompted

10. Click OK

Please update the full feature software on your PC using this link.

I'll watch your reply!

Cheers! 🙂

Hi! @Andre_D, Thanks for stopping by HP forums!

I understand you need to know how to scan to PDF from your printer.

Don't worry I will try to help you out.

What application are you using to scan from your PC?

If you are looking to scan directly from the printer control panel you don't have an option on this printer.

You can refer this article to know how to scan a photo or document directly to email.

Also, refer this article to know How to Scan from the Computer.

I'll keep an eye out for your response.

I hope you have a great day!

Mr. Robot,

I appreciate your response. We are able to do those items, what I do not want to do is put another step in the process where we take the email or picture and converst it to PDF.  Why was this option taken out of this printer. If this option is not availble them this HP printer is only good as a door stopper.

The first article is good but does not respond to our needs. The second article has "404 Page Not Found" response.

why was this option removed, is there a patch that would allow us to do this.

Thanks
