HP OfficeJet Pro 6978
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I recently installed a new HP OfficeJet Pro 6978 wirelessly to my Lenovo laptop with Windows 10 OS. I have no problems printing from Chrome and Internet Explorer, but it won't print from Outlook, all MS Office products, Adobe Pro etc. I either get an error that the "Printer isn't Ready" or alternatively, the little printer icon pops up momentarily on the Task Bar and then disappears again straight away. Does anyone know how to get my wireless printer working with all programs?

Have you installed the FULL feature software?

If you have not, can you download and install the FULL feature printer software from HP for your operating system:

Hi there, thanks very much for your advice. I think it may well have been what the issue was. While I thought I had installed the full feature software, I may not have. After quite a bit of time spent on the phone with a second HP rep, they tested a lot of different things and in the end it was a full uninstall and reinstall on their behalf that recitified the issue with the Office suite. All working fine now thanks.
