Thank for your response Greenturtle .

I`ve been through the sequence several times before but the difference this time was that I installed from the saved files , as you suggested.

However whenever I try to print the printer  is just not there or communicating .

Any ideas?

Steve

Since my I`ve renewed my usb cable ( it was my last option I`d tried everything else) and thanks to Greenturtle`s advice on the software it worked straight away.

Thank you .
