Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

My officejet Pro 8500 connected via LAN cable was working well untill the Win 10 developer update.

I have removed the driver completely and reinstalled using the latest driver on HP we, and it worked OK but the next day I could not print again

Window printer trouble shooter cannot find a solution so I again removed the printer driver and did a clean install.

Once again this did not work

I tried running HP scan & print doctor but it could not find any printer installed.

Anyone got any ideas on what else to try. This is a brilliant printer and was working fine untill the update so I am reluctant to get rid of it.

The printer shows up in devices but in device manager there are yellow exclamation marks

Any help would be appreciated
