Hi,

Main question: can I password protect my printer so that not everyone can use it?

 

I have an Envy 5660 and because I live on a college campus, am unable to set up wireless printing- so all of my printing is done via a cord (a HDMI cord, I think...). Is there any way to password protect the printer itself to prevent my floormates from using up all my ink again when I'm not around?

HP Recommended

No sorry, no passwords can be set.  You are using a USB cable, that is your only security.
