Can anyone help?  I lost the print drivers on my Windows 8 64-bit laptop.  Used the HP Wizard to reinstall. Think the Wizard downloaded 'PS_AIO_02_NetWired_Full_Win_WW_140_408.exe'.  after 15 minutes (?) of running the process died.  Have tried this several times.  The last lines of the HPPIWLog.log read:

Hi.  Thanks for the reply.  For whatever reason the 'PS_AIO_02_NetWired_Full_Win_WW_140_408.exe' driver download did not work for me.  That's the one I tried at least three times.

But the problem was solved by finding what I think is the Microsoft driver for a C6200 printer.  That one installed quickly, and seems to have solved the problem.

Found the C6200 driver by going to the Control Panel, clicked Add Printer, clicked Windows Update, clicked HP and clicked 'HP Photosmart C6200 series'.    Worked for me.

Hi rushenge,

I understand you're having some issues downloading the drivers for your Photosmart C6280 printer, and I'd be happy to help you as best I can.

You said you were using the HP Wizard to download the software which I am assuming is the HP Printer Install Wizard? So what I will do is give you the link directly to the drivers and hopefully that will be able to download. Click here to go directly to the page to download your drivers (all you have to do is click Download) and hopefully the drivers will download so you can then install them.

If these won't install either it may be an issue with the connection or the PC so maybe try downloading on a different computer or a different network.

Hope this helps, have a great day!
