Product: Envy 4500
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Envy 4500 printer recently started only printing one job immediately after being turned on.

 

After one job prints other print jobs just build up in the print queue.  After about 20 mins another job might print.  If i turn off the printer and turn it back on sometimes the next print job will print.

 

I have windows 10

I am connected to the printer wirelessly

I downloaded the updated driver software today and the printer still is not functioning properly.

 

Does any one know how to fix this problem?

I had a similar problem and the situation got a lot better when I set a manual IP address so that the printer and computer talked directly to each other.

Hello eFORDHAM,

 

            Please review this article from HP that will guide you trough the general errors that may cause your works to be stuck in the printing queue as well as, the solutions and steps needed to resolve them.

          If this does not work, at the end of the article you can try a few other steps like disable the firewall software, log into a Windows using a different Windows account, they are mentioned on Step 4.
