HP Officejet Pro 8625

I've been connected to my printer wirelessly with no problem for over a month. Last week we had a power outtage for about 3 seconds, causing everything in the building to shut down, except for my laptop of course. After the printer came back up, I tried to print something and it wouldn't let me although it was connected to the internet and so is my laptop. I've restarded everything to see if i can reconnect it, but nothing will work so far. When i go to my devices and printers, it says the network is connected, but the status says " Driver is unavailable." I am not sure if that matters, but since then i have been using my printer with a usb port. and also, i can print to the other printer wirelessly in the office, but not mine.

Alright, this should resolve your issue:

  1. In your search bar type in Printers and open Devices and Printers.
  2. Right-click on any icons of your printer listed.
  3. Click on Remove Device.
  4. Repeat for any other icons of your printer listed.
  5. Click on Add Printer and follow the prompts to add a new queue for your printer.

Please let me know if this allows you to print. If it does, please click on Accept Solution. If you appreciate my help, please click on the thumbs up icon. Both icons are below this post.

Hey @syd0715,

Welcome to the HP Support Forums!

I see that you are having some issues with printing from your PC to your Officejet 8625 e-All-in-One Printer. I can help you with that, however I am going to need to know which version of Windows you have first. Once I know that I will be better able to assist you.
