HP Laser Jet M2727nf
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

With in the last 6 months I purchased a new HP laptop computer, an HP Probook 455 G3 running Windows 10.  I have an older HP LaserJet M2727nf multi-function printer / fax / scanner.  I have visited HP's driver resource page to download and install the appropriate driver for this printer for Windows 10 (64 bit).  After all of that, I can print with no problems, but the drivers I installed don't appear to even offer the scanning option.  When installing the same drivers on a different computer, the scanning functions work just fine.

Scanning is an important part of my job.  I am currently using my older Samsung laptop to accomplish any scanning work that needs to be done, but this is not an acceptable solution.

How can this be resolved?

Thanks,

Magman_29

Hi,

Thanks for using the HP Forums.

Can you try this:

HP Scan Extended

ftp://ftp.hp.com/pub/scanners/HPScanExt/HPScanExt.msi

Once it's downloaded and installed, go to Start > All Programs > HP > HP Scan Extended > Run "HP Scan Extended"

Let us know if that works.

I am an HP Employee. Although I am speaking for myself and not for HP.
