Product: HP ENVY 4520 printer
Operating System: Mac OS X 10.9 Mavericks

Trying to download the HP ENVY 4520 printer software for installation on my MacBook.
Download keeps freezing.

Not a wifi connection issue.

Directly download and install the software below:
http://ftp.hp.com/pub/softlib/software12/HP_Quick_Start/osx/Installations/Essentials/hp-printer-esse...

Once done open System Preferences > Printers & Scanners and click the plus sign to add your printer, be sure to select the printer model within the Use drop-down menu.

 

Next install the HP Easy Scan app from the Apple Mac Store:

https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/hp-easy-scan/id967004861?mt=12
