Hello guys!

I used to connect my printer ( hp p1102) to windows7, now I`ve bought new laptop and I can`t install its software on windows 10. It give me error 0x80131500, and it can`t recognize my printer during the installation, but it is in connected devices list. Please help me!

Alright, this should resolve your issue.

  1. Remove the USB cable from the back of the PC.
  2. In your search bar type in cmd and open Command Prompt.
  3. Type "msiexec /unregister" (no quotes) and press Enter.
  4. Type "msiexec /regserver" (no quotes) and press Enter.
  5. In your search bar type in msconfig and open MSConfig.
  6. Click on the Services tab.
  7. Click on Hide All by Microsoft.
  8. Click on Disable All.
  9. Click on the Start Up tab.
  10. Click on Disable All.
  11. Click OK and restart your PC.
  12. Download and install the latest drivers by clicking on this link.

Please let me know the results after following the above. If you are able to install the printer, please click on Accept Solution. If you appreciate my help, please click on the thumbs up icon. Both icons are below this post.

I see that you are trying to connect your Laserjet P1102w Printer to your Windows 10 PC. I can help you with that, however I am going to need some clarification first. Please let me know if the printer is connected wirelessly to your router. Once I know that I will be better able to assist you.

First of all, I appreciate your attention. The printer connected to the lap top by USB.
