Hello DocCottle,

I clicked on the link you provided but Firmware is not mentioned anywhere on that page.

Please can you take a look and get back to me?

Regards,

Methods for Installing the Firmware Update:

  1. Install the update through the product control panel (Recommended)
  2. Download the update this page

For easier use, HP recommends installing the firmware update through the product control panel instead of downloading the firmware update from this page. If your product is connected though a network (Wireless or Ethernet), you can easily and quickly install the firmware update directly through the product control panel. You must have an active Internet connection.
If you choose to download the firmware update from this page, your product must be connected through a USB connection.

Follow these steps to install the firmware update through the product control panel:

  1. On the product control panel, touch the Right Arrow to display the second navigation screen.
  2. Touch Setup, and then touch the Down Arrow to display the Web Services Setup Menu.
  3. Touch Web Services Setup.
  4. Touch the Down Arrow to select Product Updates.
  5. Touch Check for Product Updates.

USB connection only: If you chose to download the product firmware update rather than installing the update through the control panel, click the Download button on this page, and then follow the on-screen instructions.

Check for product updates frequently to ensure that you are getting the most out of your HP product.

Congratulation, how you give your customers the feeling to be valuable !

The user asked for a changelog of the firmware 1621 (If you don't understand: This is release Mid 2016 !).

And what do you answer: An absolut stupid standard-text-block with no reference to the question and a changelog from a firmware, released in 2012.

Good Morning HP, in case, you slept 4 years.
