i just bought it, stay in university hostel, using university wifi, try to install the software but cant.

I understand that you cannot install your HP Officejet 7510 using your University's wireless connection. I am happy to help! 

 

Most Universities/Colleges have a block on their routers for installing printers. If you were able to connect and anyone else had the same wireless password, that person could potentially print to your printer if they connected as well. 

 

The best options I have for you is to either try installing with Wi-Fi Direct, or using a USB 2.0 printer cable.

 

You will want to make sure the printer can print a test page without using a computer first. Printing Self-Test Pages.

ok. Thanks. How about the scan? Now i  can print ,but cant scan it. how i scan from printer to computer?
