Microsoft Windows 7 (32-bit)

Computer and printer have disconnected.  Printer still will print from my I-pad at present have a file stuck in the que. Should i reinstall the printer from the cd or is the problem more with the computer not finding the printer? Also not sure if windows 7 is a 32 or 64 bit system.  Also I am not very tech smart.

@Herb42,

Welcome to HP Forums, this is a great place to get support, find answers and tips.

Thank you for posting your query, I'll be more than glad to help you out.

I understand that you are unable to print from your HP ENVY 7640 e-All-in-One Printer as the printer is not connected to the network.

This issue could occur if the printer is far from the router or the firmware may not be updated.

Let's go through a few steps to resolve this issue.

And here's the step by step guide for you in the link: Printer Does Not Maintain Wireless Connection

You may also check the link: Printer is Offline (Windows)

Let me know how that works.

You have a good day ahead.
