Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hello,

 

This printer has been set up once and is working with my girlfriends computer.

 

However when trying to set up with a new lap-top, although I have downloaded drivers using HP software, the prtiner settings on my lap-top state that no drivers hav been downloaded.

 

any help or ideas appreciated

I understand that you are unable to locate the downloaded drivers of your HP OfficeJet 5742 e-All-in-One Printer.

 

This issue could occur if the downloaded file is corrupted.

 

Let's go through a few steps to resolve this issue.

 

As the full feature drivers are not available, you may download the built-in drivers from the link: Installing and Using the Windows Built-in Print Driver
