I would like to find the HP utility but cannot locate it where is it stored

Hi,

If there is no link to it you may locate it under Computer > Active boot volume (usually MacintoshHD) > Library > Printers > HP > Utilities

If it is not in this folder it doesn't exist on your system..

 

The printer is not listed as supported by this list or compatible with Google Chrome OS:

http://support.hp.com/rs-en/document/c03722645

 

You may give HP Print for Chrome a try, install it and then see if you may able to select the connected printer:

http://support.hp.com/rs-en/document/c04683559

 

If it fails to detect your printer there is no much else to try, your printer is too old for such a later cloud based envoirnment..

My printer is not that old.  I have a Hp Office jet pro 8610.  It is a little more thatva year old.
