Hello eddiexxx,

Welcome to the HP Forums!

I understand your Envy 4500 is stating a "0XC4EB827F". Please make sure this printer is plugged into a direct wall, not a surge protector.

Next, follow this entire HP document on 'Ink System Failure' or a '0x...' or a 'C2...' Error Message Displays on the Front Panel.

Let me know if this document resolves your issue or not. Smiley Happy

Hello Amandatote,

Welcome to the HP Forums!

I understand you cannot remove the ink cartridges and a message appears "OXC4EB827F" using the Envy 4500. I will do my best to assist you! Please make sure this printer is plugged into a direct wall, not a surge protector. I just want to see if this makes a difference.

If the carriage is stuck on the left or right hand side, where you cannot remove the ink cartridges, then please follow this entire HP document on A 'Carriage Jam' Message Displays on the Control Panel.

Follow this HP document on 'Ink System Failure' or a '0x...' or a 'C2...' Error Message Displays on the Front Panel. Please post your results, as I will be looking forward to hearing from you. Have a great day! Smiley Happy

I have the same problem, cartridges are jammed and won't move by following any of the documents you linked. Was working fine 30 minutes ago, no paper Jammed or anything. Just paid for my monthly ink contract and need to print 100 sheets for a meeting tonight. Apparently my warranted expired 2 weeks ago, what a surprise.

Hi,

my wife bought the ENVY 4500 and we are having the same issue straight out of the box. We are about to put it all back in the box after messing with it for a few days...I am just wondering if you were able to figure out how to get it unstuck or moving again on its own...same codes and same exact issue with the carrier for the ink cartridges stuck on the right and not moving at all.

Thanks!
