i tried following your instructions and am totally lost. I downloaede WINRAR. Followed your link but it downloaded Photo Creations not Photosmart Essentials. Looked everywhere I could to find the pse_350_enu file and couldn't. I assume I needed to open WINRAR to extract the pse_350_enu but couldn't find it from there either. Any other suggestions?

Did you follow the post marked as solve on the first page? If you cannot find it here it is.
@rxfish38,
- Download WINRAR (you can find this at RARLABS.COM
- Install WINRAR
- Once installed, download Photosmart Essentials from here: http://www.hp.com/united-states/consumer/digital_photography/free/software/index_ww_eng.html
- Ok, so here is the slightly tricky part. Once the file is downloaded, you need to right click the file, pse_350_enu, and then select "extract to pse...
- Then go to the window that says "cannot find file", click browse, and point it to where you extracted the contents of the pse_350_enu file.
- Let me know the outcome.

I have been trying all of the suggestions and none of them have worked. This is very frustrating. Someone online suggested that it would be better to just download the basic driver and not bother with the extra features like photosmart.
I also tried to deal with the missing components of photosmart, but found that my only option was something called Photo Creations or something like that. I am so tired of messing with this. Any new suggestions?
