I had the same problem. I remove the cartridges one by one and the problem solved. Perhaps the root cause of the problem was that the cartridges were not genuine... The brand of the cartridges is "@work".

I have an HP Laser Jet P1505 that has always worked well, with no problems.  However, lately, it has become slow printing after the first page.  The first page prints almost instantly, but then takes about a minute to print the next, and so on.  Once I have completed a run of printing and start again, the first page prints right away, but again becomes very sluggish with the subsequent pages in the same run.   I have reloaded the driver, but it made no difference.  I have looked through the printer preferences, but have found nothing unusual.  Any ideas?
