You may be a real person, but you do not seem to be paying attention.  A lot of us have also received the replacement printers.  How can you say it is "a replacement printer free from known issues".  They all do the exact same thing.  Work perfectly fine for a few months and then you get the message again.  I would love to believe that they did find a solution to this problem, but I am on my second broken one now.

As I have said in other places, HP just needs to update the software over the internet so that when there is a printhead problem we are prompted if we want to print anyway.  Problem solved, because as we all know, the printer works perfectly until the error comes up.  No quality issues.  But most importantly, I have been able to get the message to go away for a very short time on both of my printers and during that short time, IT STILL PRINTS PERFECTLY.  There is obviously something wrong with the method of determining that there is a "problem with the printhead", and not the actual printhead itself.

My replacement 6830 lasted almost 6 months.  Yea!   Calling today for another replacement.   Going to ask for / demand  another model.   An onsite HP specialist at the Bradenton FL BestBuy told me that he personally will not sell the 6830 because of this flagrant problem.  However, it is still on display and available for sale.   The onsite HP rep said that he and many others at HP have said it should be pulled from sales but that it inexplicably remains.  The faiure is very common.
